We had booked a wine-tour some weeks ahead. After ringing on the door bell, we were friendly received and taken a tour tasting different wines and told the story of Badia a Coltibuono. Our guide Aurora had a nice pace and good stories.

Stopped for a bite to eat in the restaurant and had papardelle with wild boar. Delicious. The tour was very informative and the locale gorgeous on top of a hill at 600 meters. Small group and enjoyable. The wine is organic and 100% locally grown....More

We visited Badia a Coltibuono recently for a "celebration dinner." Gorgeous setting, outdoor seating with a killer view. Excellent food and service. We came an hour early for the tour of the gorgeous grounds, and a quick wine tasting. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Badia a Coltibuono was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Italy. The property itself is amazing. The gardens are beautiful and there were many lovely options for spending time other than in our apartment. We bought salumi and cheese...More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this winery. The gardens and ancient cellars and the tasting were wonderful. Our tour guide Fabrina was excellent. The restaurant was fantastic: food and on the terrace in the gardens.

Not only is it gorgeous, there's a spirit to this place - of peace and tranquility. There's even a little unattended shop beside the church, selling local handmade wares. Also see my review for the restaurant next door - a do-not-miss.

We experienced the wine tasting for Badia Coltibuono at their quaint little wine shop. It is located at the bottom of the hill from the castle. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and a life long wine enthusiast and expert. The views of the castle and...More
