Interesting please

It is very unusual church , from the architecture point of view. Small space, altar is situated in the center of it. Short visit worth paying when you walk around the old town of Arona

Hidden history

Latin mass! Every Saturday evening or Sunday. Worth the visit even if you are not of the faith. The art inside is breath taking and the place is so peaceful.

Little gem in Arona
Aug 2017 • Solo
The position of the churchvis great, dominating the best square of Arona (Piazza del Popolo). Inside the structure remembers the little house of Loreto.
It is not easy to find it open but if you jave a chance please go and visit it!

Opening times?
Aug 2017 • Solo
I've been past the church a few times and it's never been open which is unusual as most town churches and others in Arona are. A shame because it occupies a prominent position within the square - might be helpful if there were times posted on display?

Just remember every Saturday evening at 6am the Mass is given in Latin.
If this doesn't shine on you, just go in and sit, feel the history and the love which surrounds this place. Sit in silence listen to the silence. It has some wonderful volunteers who will inform you of the history, dare you to ask. :)

Lovely aged Church
Mar 2017 • Business
This church is worth visiting , but to me most of them are - feeling the past visitors and prayer participants - this church has very limited visitation hours - which I never found to be posted anywhere - but after two trips to Arona and multiple try's I did have successful Visit , the afternoon I was there , a lovely woman who was knowledgeable in the history of the church - I with limited understanding of the Italian language didn't fully retain all she had to offer -hope you too enjoy the moment

This church is one of the oldes in Arona, has an interesting wooden interior that is characteristic. It is still used for marriages since the position in piazza del Popolo is visually stunning

Mass in Latin
Apr 2016 • Friends
One of the most quaintest churches I have seen in Arona, mind you I have not seen them all yet. But this one is OLD and it has a service every Saturday at 6.30pm in Latin.
