Tricked at ticket purchase
Dec 2019
We went skiing to Mt.Lusarri last day last year and were scammed by lady seeling tickets. Be very carefull what full amount are you paying via Bank/credit card, since it may not be same amount as on purchased tickets. I wrote to existing contact they have on a web but as expected no reply back.

Great ski experience
Feb 2019 • Family
We went skiing as a family and there are many things to do. Ski slopes are well prepared, the prices are among cheapest There are many different slopes for begginers and also for more experienced skiers. Due to sun and warm weather the ski surface was bad after 1 PM.
Between the Tarviso part and Monte Lusari part is a snow park for children and those not skiing. Two sledding slopes and many inflatable playgrounds, slopes... And only the adults pay for the snow park. Great for some other fun.

Nice slope for people with intermediate level
Jan 2019 • Couples
This place is nice for skiing and snowboarding. The slope is wide and long and there is a gondola, which makes the ride up very comfortable. But the slope is in my opinion only good for people with intermediate skill level because it's quite steep. There are some mountain huts on the way were you can eat or drink. The views from the top are amazing, definitely worth seeing.

Great little area for variety when in Slovenia
Feb 2018 • Friends
We skied here when based in Kranjska Gora as it was only 25km away & gave us variety. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day to do it again.
You access the base area direct from the car park so no gondola to ride. The runs are a variety of reds & blues mainly, with one very nice black run. There is also a very good area for children/ beginners.
The town looks nice as you drive through, although we did not walk around it. Highly recommended if you at a smaller resort & fancy variety 1 or 2 days.
Prices are competitive for food & drinks but slightly higher than Slovnia.
We also took advantage of skiing to Mount Lusari which is gorgeous.

Great skiing for both families with children and experts
Jan 2016 • Family
This was the second time for us in Tarvisio. First time without children, we skied on black slopes - absolutely fantastic! Second time this year with children we used red and blue slopes - very good for children. There are a lot of ski-schools, too. We will certainly come again.

Great for children
Feb 2016
We visited this ski slope twice in the week and found it much better than sella nevea. We booked private ski lessons for the children with Lorenzo and Luca, who were excellent with the little ones.

Very nice for skiing
Feb 2015
We have been there twice and I can truly recommend the place for skiing. Many great runs but not so easy, rather for good skiers, sometimes quite challanging. Amazing views! Good infrastructure, not so crowded place so ideal for winter holidays. I really like this place!

Fairly decent and not for beginners
Feb 2015 • Couples
This ski resort is really nice, but please, PLEASE, beginners - wait until your skiing technique is half-decent before you go there - or, if you do visit, stay on the bottom slopes. Monte Lussari features narrow ski slopes that can be quite steep in places - a real treat for a good recreational skier and a nightmare for beginners. Since it is a bit too low and the snow blowers are somewhat old, the slopes are quite icy - which means people don't really ski there but "hit the brakes" all the time, shaving the top layer of snow off the ice. Anyway, the views are gorgeous (you get a really good look of the Julian Alps), the small picturesque village on the Lussari features some nice "baitas" (chalets), the food is good (Italy) - and that's pretty much it. A nice one-day get away.
