Here you will find a 16th century old church surrounded by beautiful mountains all around!
You will find cute souvenir shops and a restaurant overlooking the mountains, where you can enjoy a drink or a meal. The views are so breathtaking!

Nice skiing despite lack of snow

First time skiing there and unfortunately a very warm winter. Nonetheless the pistes were well maintained with artificial snow.
Excellent food at the Florianca mountain hut.

Suggestive and beautiful place: easy to reach!

I went to Lussari often and during all seasons: in my opinion, the best season to visit this place is winter. Snow makes the landscape really suggestive and peculiar. In addition, you can enjoy skiing or snowshoeing to the top following the "sentiero del Pellegrino" track. The altitude to trek is about 900 m (totally doable, I saw many people there). I highly recommend to eat something typical once you reach the top! :) If you don't want to trek, there is a cableway (you can park the car nearby).

Adorable place

This is one of the most adorable and breathtaking spots I`ve ever seen. I would relocate here for a while to be in the nature within the mountains. This is a must see when you discover this region.

Stunning Location
Jul 2019
This wonderful place is a must see attraction. Easy to reach by cable car and a short hike gets you to the top of the mountain. The church and small village are worth to visit and buy a souvenir or enjoy a visit to one of the small restaurants.

Mt Lussar is a must see for either season. I went during summer and was stuck there because of a huge thunderstorm. Quite an experience. Like it a lot.

Monte Lussari is a small mountain top settlement. Easily accessible by cable car. Once on top its a must to visit the chapel to buy a souvenir and eat over there.

We have been visiting this area for a while but have never been up the cable car in Camporosso to Monte Lussari.

After a few days of thunder we decided to take a chance in Monte Lussari with a view to sunbathe and swim in Lago del Predil near Tarvisio if the weather got better.

We travelled to camporosso where signs to Monte Lussari took us to the cable car. Lots of parking with toilets and a small playground at the bottom which was very useful as we have three young children.

The tickets for us as a family of 5 cost around €32. 7 and under went up for free! They did ask me for the kids’ documents which we didn’t have but they did trust our dates of birth.

The cable car up was a treat for the kids. Great views and a nice experience for them. We could see the main paths up and I think next time when the kids are a bit older we may venture to walk back to the bottom.

The views at the top were amazing with lots of photo opportunities. We took some snacks up to the top and had a little picnic at the top of Italy; but we also visited a lovely restaurant which was reasonably priced especially with the view.
