You can reach the falls by taking a bus from Ella center. The falls themselves are quite high and it is strong recommended not to climb the rocks as they are very slippery.

it might be the season is not good , I visited on 1st Sep , water level is very low , I didn't feel that I am watching a waterfall , was just normal
We went on a Sunday afternoon the place was packed and uncomfortable we had time so returned Monday morning on route elsewhere, much better few people around - just a five min stop for a few pics and enjoy the view. Sad about the trash.
