We made in total 8 dives per person with East Africa Diving. The owners, divemasters and captains of the boats are friendly, professional and funny. Good equipment (boats, dive equipment, cleaning of equipment etc), good food and always happy to help and support. Don't doubt if you want to dive, book here!

We went out for a day of diving - equipment was good, dive master professional. My friend did her first dive after a pool session and felt in good hands. You also take a speed boat to Memba rather than a dhow so get there quickly which was great and made it easy for us to find and dolphins around,... More

We came 9 divers in October 2016, and made a Discount deal, when paying they acted like there was no deal made, then they remembered and suddenly added 180 USD to the price agreed. Diving +100 times newer experienced a attitude like this. Don't go there.

We have dived at this centre several times and it is second to none. Being experienced divers we are given a degree of freedom but at the same time there was always a watching presence. New divers and snorkelers were welcomed, time was taken sorting out kit that they were happy with and a clear outline of procedures explained so... More

We were not told that we can go snorkel again after a rest? Only when people asked if there was something wrong with the boat and when are we going back did they tell us that we can snorkel again? I was then a bit see sick of sitting on the boat. The boat did not have a roof and... More

Me and my partner decided to speak to the lady at the Royal resort. She was lovely and not pushy so we decided to book the Mnemba snorkelling tour. She walked up with us on the day to the centre which was around a 10 minute walk. We were given snorkels, flippers and a t-shirt. We had a group of... More

I did my PADI Open Water Diving certification course with them and it was awesome! They have great equipment and access to any facilities needed for the program. My instructor, Jennifer was fantastic and her enthusiasm for diving is contagious. She is very knowledgable and made the whole experience a lot of fun. The rest of the team is also... More

Good managed dive shop with daily trips to Mnemba island and local trips in north west area. For local trips a local boat, to Mnemba they use a inflammable speed boat. Also german speaking staff.

We were picked up and dropped off from our hotel each day. Staff was knowledgeable and kind. Dive boats and rental gear was in very good shape. Diving in remote locations in a gear heavy sport is not easy. East Africa Divers met all our needs easily, took us to great locations and we would not hesitate to use them... More
