We hadn't intended to visit but it is less than 10 minutes from Puzzler World so we decided we would take a look. Seniors discount here. There were very few people there so we could 'ooh' and 'ah' and remember toys we used to own....More

This must be one of the largest collections in the world. It's certainly a trip down memory lane for the oldies. Car buffs will be in Heaven. I wish the exhibition of German WW2 fighter "aces" received more prominence, instead of being put in a...More

This museum is packed with stuff - the majority items are cars (the first one my family ever owned and the one I later learned to drive in) and toys but there are quiet corners where you might find a display of something like vacuum...More

OK so we wanted to go here more than the kids, but I think they enjoyed it too. This is a really MASSIVE collection of toys, cars and other bits and bobs (cabinet of salt and pepper shakers, anyone?) There's lego, meccano, Barbie, doll houses,...More

Back in 2007, on a cold, wet winter's day, we first visited this museum. We were awestruck by the collection and never forgot our experience. Fast forward 9 years and on a sunny spring day we revisited the Transport and Toy Museum. While the entry/shop/cafe...More

Incredible display of so many interesting items in one place! Cars, trucks, motor bikes, planes, toys (even teaspoons and dolls for those so inclined :-)

This will bring back memories for those who can remember or before it fades away. Never seen a place like this. Unbelievable! It's a good trip down memory lane. No lack of conversation at this museum. Don't forget your camera.

What an amazing place... the toy side of the museum was a trip down memory lane with nostalgia by the bucketful! Someone has had a ball collecting figures, toys, dolls and the like and making up all of the displays. I revisited my childhood, and...More

I'm not a "museum-type" person, and normally avoid them. But this one sounded different because it had toys and cars (and I'm a bit of a car fanatic). We had my 81-year old mother with us, and she went along for this experience. And all...More

There is a huge amount to see, you can get a return pass for free, good for 3 days I think. It will take you 3 days to see everything but if you are a bit selective allow 3-4 hours.
