Honestly one of the best vacations we have been on. My 7 yr old son, husband, and I had a wonderful time in Jamiaca because of this business. We had been to Jamaica before on a ship, but we didnt know where to go. Unfortunately, we were herded off to specific areas that seemed to be tourist traps designating you where to spend money. Thankfully, two years ago, we decided to join wonderful friends on a trip to Jamaica. We chose Jamrock Journeys to guide us to have an authentic Jamaican experience. We were not disappointed. Caring, attentive, and fun describes this business. We went all over the island. I highley suggest the farm where you were able to eat all of the island foods. What a wonderful place and wonderful people. We felt so welcomed and were educated by a gentleman that was so excited about Jamaicas history of its food. Make sure to smell and touch all they allow you to... it's such a special experience. We also saw bioluminescent algae at night in which you were able to swim through. We snorkled, climbed up a beautiful waterfall (without having to climb with other tourist), ate local food (I'm now obsessed with Jamaican patties/cuisine). We went to historical sites, and learned the history. Absolutely wonderful people welcomed us and made us feel at home. We were unable to see turtles hatching and crawling to the ocean, but that was because we were on a lot of other excursions (However, that was our choice, and we didn't feel rushed). We took our time at places. I think my favorite was stopping and grabbing sugarcane with Mark, and us all sitting on the front stoop eating sugar cane and mangos. Lots of fun. There is so much more, and I hope everyone can experience Jamaica with a group like Jamrock Journeys. It's such a difference going with someone who knows and understands the area. I appreciate them so much.

Marc was amazing. My husband and I met Marc for our day off the Star Trek cruise. He took us to the Dunn's River Falls (climbed it twice) and out to a local restaurant for awesome food and made sure we got back to our cruise ship in plenty of time. I highly recommend Jamrock Journey's and Marc for safe travels in Jamaica.

Jamrock Journey has been one of the best transportation service I have ever travelled with, I was picked up by Marc before the lockdown in Jamaica. It was so terrifying before and during my flight due to the coronavirus pandemic; But Marc came through. He was so punctual, we came straight out of the airport and he was already at the airport waiting with a welcoming smile. This journey as been one of the most relaxing and comfortable journey that I have ever travelled. His bus was perfectly sanitized and the air condition was so soothing on that hot sunny day. Marc was such an affable and fun person. I would happily recommend friends and family to travel with Jamrock Jourey, I will definitely book Marc again with no regrets.

A glance at this country full of promises and especially that of coming back there, in very pleasant company, Marc being the personification of the assets we imagine when we think of Jamaica: coolness, relaxed humour, dazzling smile, boundless kindness and great availability.

The challenge was consequent: to give us a glimpse of the country while leaving the too touristic tours in a more than limited time, that is to say in 7 hours, our Outlaw Country Cruise would not wait for us... In our case everything was discussed beforehand, via cordial exchanges of emails, but another possibility would be without any doubt nor fear to let go and completely guided by Marc, according to the desires and conditions of the day, in all confidence.

After the inevitable morning porridge served in his calabash hull just to get the machine going, we crossed the area around Falmouth and set off for the hinterland towards Adelphi, to the rhythm of the bends in the small roads a bit stoned and the sound of horns waving at each car coming in the opposite direction. Fortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to get a feel for the big one, as that would have meant that the phlegmatic Marc would have gone off the deep end. Tasting some totally unknown and delicious fruits on the aisle to fill us with energy for the next visit. The Rasta village that we had wished to discover (as an alternative to the expedition to Bob's native village, the journey being long and tedious...) is well deserved: the foot reflexology we undergo when crossing the stream that separates it from "civilization" reminds us of how we, European or Western city-dwellers, are sometimes disconnected from nature. It is with great respect that we drank the words of our various hosts, who made us discover their wise philosophy, their rich culture, the activities that occupy their days through various craft workshops and their general way of life. A beautiful stage, inevitably unique, that we deeply appreci-loved. Back towards Montego Bay, busy enough to quickly get away from it all and have lunch at Evelyn's, an authentic, pretty simple but welcoming restaurant, directly on a small beach sheltered from tourists. The opportunity to deepen the exchanges with Marc and icing on the cake to enjoy some fresh Red Stripe, in front of the turquoise blue of the small cove used as a playground for a few funny kids. The car ride was the opportunity to let us, Swiss dudes against all odds, introduce some unforgettable pearls of ska, rocksteady or roots reggae to Marc, whose relatively young ears hadn't given him the opportunity to enjoy. It's written: the day we come back to Jamaica we'll jam with Marc! And Marc don’t forget : Lie down gal, let me push it up, push it up, lie down First thing she ax, if you 'ave your brush If you 'ave your brush, you can avoid the rush Wether you whine or grine :-)

Who can forget Gilles and Iza? No one will. You guys are the most laid back Europeans I know. Plus each time I look at that handy Swiss knife I remember. We will get a chance for an extended journey in the near future I presume. Glad I was able to share an intimate perspective of my life in Jamaica with you. Live and love life. One love and thank you for being such a blast. Marc Ps. You have me listening to these old school reggae superstars much close. Haha
