We went here on our way to Denmark. It's an excellent recreation of a concentration camp with some original features. It's feels grim as it's next to a prison. A shame none of the information is in EnglishMore

Thank you for your message. We are sorry you apparently didn't borrow the 'audiotour' which is available in English, German and French and which offers valuable information. Indeed the museum itself was nog provided with English texts in 2002, we didn't expect visitors from abroad...More

Thank you for your recommendation! Unfortunately public transport is limited indeed. There is a small bus managed by volunteers (buurtbus 213) which drives from station 's-Hertogenbosch and stops in front of our door, but not on Sundays. We hope this will change in future.

This attraction was extremely well presented, and represented in detail. We opted for the handheld vocal tour- well with the extra money. We spent two hours here. Emotions would depend on your attachment to the War. Modern day parallels well tied in at the end...More

Spent around 2 hours here with my mother and 12 year old son. Quite hard to find unless you have satnav as the signage is not that obvious. Parking is fine and the main building is next to what appears to be a current prison....More

Restoration and displays from a German Concentration Camp that later held informants as the Liberation happened and then housed Indonesian members of the Dutch Army. An overview of what happened in the Netherlands still is a shock. If you can't read Dutch then pay 2...More

Dear Ed, we appreciated you visited our museum on both locations and thank you for your message. Please spread the word! Good to read the audiotour offers good information; we have the 'Podcatcher' in our museum since last July in English and German.

This is restoration of a German internment and labour camp that was run by the SS in WW2. Obviously the subject matter can be disturbing but it is a good thing to go there. Don't take, don't take pets and be respectful as you look...More

This former concentration camp is very interesting to visit. For 2 euros you can use the audio tour (in English, Dutch and I believe German as well). We visited this camp for about 3 hours, and still did not see everything. If you want to...More
