Overview
More
Marina Isla Canela is a Marina situated in the benchmark composed of "Costa de la Luz" the "Algarve" and the Guadiana River in the southwest Andalusian Corner. Exactly in the Carreras river mouth, inside the natural spot of Isla Canela. This situation offers an unbeatable cover against adverse meteo, giving a perfect shelter to all the boats in the Marina.

An interesting place to walk around, several bars, shops and restaurants, sit on a sofa with a cold beer and watch the world go by.

Lovely marina, very nice and small. We visited off-season so it was very quiet. I expect it to be pretty crowded in summer, not sure if it’s still enjoyable but this is a personal taste.

We stayed in May and apparently the Marina really only comes to life over the summer when the main Spanish tourist season begins. I understand that, but the Marina, the setting and the little front to it would have been much nicer if everything had...More

We used the ferry to Isla Christina and took a trip around the estuary.....very enjoyable and worth it. Not expensive and the estuary trip also supplied wine and prawns in with the price.
