Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The port has a great hustle and bustle about it! Plenty of restaurant choices and boutiques if you want to indulge! Very picturesque place! Small tip as you'd expect:the restaurant prices are more expensive at the port than in the old town!

The port of Bonifacio is very well located at the foot of the city and close to all amenities. The port itself is situated among the cliffs. A charming marina located between the rocks and the streets of the city with many restaurants.

Anyone going around the island of Corsica by yacht should consider stopping at this marina as a must. located in the beautiful bay of Bonifacio it occupies both banks of the eastern end, with an abundance of mooring slots for a large amount of yachts. The port is close to the main street where a large number of restaurants are practically on the water. For seafood lovers it's heaven, and there is a free shuttle to the town above. Mooring fees are in line with similar facilities on the island.

Bonifacio Harbor was opened to us first from the sea upon arrival from Sardinia. Nature has created an ideal place for ships to park. The rugged coastline and limestone cliffs protect the marina from the famous Mediterranean winds, be it Sirocco from the south or Tramontana and Mistral from the north. Climbing up to the citadel, we caught the wind. Going down to the marina with yachts, we got into a calm. From where you look at the harbor, it looks extremely picturesque. A very romantic place.

We arrived by ferry from Sardinia into Bonifacio. It is a stunning harbour to enter by boat. We also spent time wandering the harbour on foot. And from the old town up on the hill there are great views down over the harbour, Very scenic and photogenic.

We spent quite a lot of time wandering around this Port.
Lovely view of it from the old town looking down and also from the harbor with the citadel in the background.
We ate at a few of the restaurants and they aren’t all as expensive as they look considerably the Port has some quite fancy yachts tied up here.
We enjoyed looking at all the yachts, ferries, sailboats and a few shops also!
It’s possible to book pleasure boat trips here to see the cliffs etc

This harbour cannot be seen from the sea, it's as if the cliffs are continuous until you go theough a cleft and there it is gaurded by the citadel. Lots of cafes, bars, little church and everything for yachts. You can walk up steps, a slope or use the little train
