Our paradise

During a beautiful hike we had discovered this magnificent beach, wild early in the morning to avoid many tourists.

One of the best beaches I ever been to, though it requires a decent walk to get there. Lovely calm and beautiful.

Beautiful to see both Petit et Grand Sperone
May 2019 • Family
Beware - You have to find parking before Piantarella beach and than cross the whole of that beach before you can access Petit Sperone - It's badly mapped on Google which makes you believe you can drive up to the beach but in fact the road is private and the only way is through Piantarella (which is a cute beach too - Just manage expectations with kids as there is some walking involved and bring water and food: no cafes whatsoever on Little Sperone beach!). Unfortunately a beautiful part of the coastline was sold to make a private golf field so Capo dello Sperone itself (between Petit et Grand Sperone) is not that visible... However all in all really worth going!!!

Only 20 mins from Bonifacio and the “hike” is worth it. Beautiful beach! Quiet when we arrived at 10am (June). Highly recommend!

Gorgeous paradise

The beach of Petite Spérone is located close to Bonifacio. It is a quite narrow and isolated place bordered by two strips of land. The water is of course turquoise, like probably most beaches in Corsica, and the sand is incredibly fine and white.

Wilde beautiful beach

You can go to this splendid place or by motorboat or in foot, walking along the cost for about 20 minutes. The beach is very small with a fine white sand, the color of the water is smeraldine.

Prettiest Beach I Have Ever Seen
Jun 2018 • Couples
On the first day of the summer holiday, Saturday June 30, it was full. We had to park far away on the road. The 10 minute walk along the beach was easy BUT we didn't carry anything with us. In places it was quite narrow and walking on an embankment of seaweed meant getting our feet wet. But it was well worth it. The first glimpse one gets is from above, and the sparkling water glistens in the sunlight.

We were not planning a day on the beach. We merely wanted to see it and so walked on for another 10 - 15 minutes towards Grande Sperone, also lovely, but very different and not as busy.

We are glad that we didn't miss seeing this lovely little beach. If we were to do again having plenty of time, we would again probably only take water and beach towels, swim and enjoy both beaches, then return to lunch at the beach restaurant where we parked and started. We stopped for drinks on this visit too and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. So much to watch there too.

A little pearl of a beach, but little..
Oct 2018 • Family
It is a bit of a hike getting there 10-15 minutes, but that can also be an adventure. The beach is less than 100m wide and I guess can be crowded during peak. We were there in October and still had nice and warmish water. A crowd of 50 people there. Bring food and drinks as no restaurants are there. Beach is nice and SMOKE FREE - even nicer for non smokers. If you are hitting a beach around Bonifacio, this is good. If you want service, you may have to travel a bit further.

Average beach

We got here in the late afternoon so managed to park right by the marina but there were cars parked along the road for kilometres so I can imagine it gets really busy. You need to walk for about 8 minutes and climb over rocks to get to the actual beach. There was some dead algae in the beginning fo the beach and it smelled pretty bad. Tried to snorkel there but there was no fish at all. Left after 20 minutes.

Beautiful small beach with fine sand

You need to walk a kilometre or so, some of it over reasonably easy to cross rocks. There were families of all ages. Recommended.
