Small, simple, kids happy

A nice wee place, nothing flash but well executed. The live show was well received by the 5yo. The otter enclosure was a bit tricky for the small kids to get a view. Some... read more

A nice wee place, nothing flash but well executed. The live show was well received by the 5yo. The otter enclosure was a bit tricky for the small kids to get a view. Some interactive exhibits that were still beyond the 3 and 5yo. The playground was popular. Didn't check out baby change facilities so can't comment. Can get around... More

We visited this wonderful place as a retired couple. We thoroughly enjoyed it and know that our grandchildren would have loved it(next time maybe). The place is well organised with plenty of staff. My husband doesn't speak French, but the pictorial, clear signage made everything clear. We found ourselves marvelling at the way we saw creatures in a way never experienced before. We were able to observe... This turned out to be even more interesting than their web site presented. Our grandchildren loved it, but in addition it gobs of information about storks, otters, and other creatures, the whole place is a wonderfully and beautifully planted wet land with ponds, boardwalks above the wetlands, a woods-like collection of willow trees and a massive treehouse. Its location on... More

Set in the midst of beautiful Alsatian vineyards, the Stork and Otter Reintroduction Centre is a wonderful stop. Set on a 12 acre site, the Centre offers a good walking path through nicely landscaped grounds, that allows for very good views of their over 200 storks, some of the massive nests built by these birds, and also exhibits showcasing the... We loved our afternoon at the reintroduction center, there were storks all over and it was easy to take fabulous photos of these magnificent creatures. The show was also worth while, it is in French, but do not let that deter you, they have a variety of animals to watch and it's interesting no matter which language you speak. They... More

My husband and I stopped here along our journey of the Alsace wine trail and had a really wonderful time. Not only do you get to see many storks and their nests but a whole variety of other animals and fish as well. It was fun, informative and a nice walk through nature. Well worth the visit.

This was a brilliant time had here. The value for money admission charge. It was good to see the animals being fed with them having to chase and catch the live fish. Only issue is the commentary was inky available in french no means of translation available. But really didn't make a difference to the enjoyment.

Even though you can see quite a few storks on the roofs of many house in Alsace, this place has a lot of them. Here you can see them in their nests, you can see their eggs, little storks, and grown up storks. In addition to them you can see black and white swans and quite a few birds and... More

This is a perfect plan for a family with children. We had a great trip and excellent experience. Exhibitions and shows are in German and French.
