Take out of the equation that The Corn Islands are untouched gems of the Caribbean which you don’t want to become too popular, but credit due Corn Hill Divers need to be promoted for their professionalism, care and safety first attitude.
Corn Island divers from the very first Enquiry made me feel welcome, communication was prompt and even when I rescheduled it was not a problem.
Myron and his team are professional, the kit is in good shape and the tanks are filled that little bit more to give you more time underwater. The rates were good! I went to Blowing Rock which I thought was exceptional lots to see, reef shark, manta ray, and I also went to some other local dive sites, lots to keep divers happy.

I would recommend Myron and his team wholeheartedly, if you have never tried diving before give it a go with this outfit and if you are advanced its still a good centre to go with. Myron does offer some basic economical accommodation which I stayed in and was super happy clean and comfortable with! I do hope I come back as I know there are some other sites worth exploring! Thank you Corn Hill Divers you really helped me with my diving.

Hmm where do I even start. I walked into Myrons place after booking a reservation weeks before with absolutely zero expectations and no experience. What started was an adventure. Not only is he a great instructor and absolutely the best person to lead your through the fundamentals of diving, but he’s also a great human. His dive shop sits along the Big Corn coast, 5 minute drive from the port. He moved to Big Corn after having a dive spot in SJDS.

I’ve had the opportunity of getting a certification at another dive spot at Little Corn and I am so happy I picked Myron as my cherry to diving. His direct style teaching approach with a sprinkle of island vibes is exactly what I imagined my best experience to be. He is well established and well liked amongst the locals and he takes each certification seriously. I felt more than confident to dive into the water at the end of the course on my own. Even though the weather conditions were far less than ideal, he made the best of everything and we never skipped an opportunity to go with the schedule. After our 3 days, me and another one of his students, Charlie, developed a little comradorie. It was the highlight of my trip and left me with a very pleasant afterglow for the rest of the trip.

I highly recommend Myron.

I did my PADI Open Water course with Corn Island Dive Center and had a great experience. I've been wanting to get certified for years now, and the staff made this dream come true. Myron is a knowledgeable and patient teacher and explained everything to me thoroughly, and made sure I fully understood everything and did the activities correctly. I sometimes panic in open water because I'm not the best swimmer, but Myron was by my side the entire time safely guiding me and I'm now much more confident swimming and being in open waters. I highly recommend doing a PADI Open Water course, or even a regular scuba diving or snorkeling tour with Corn Island Dive Center because the staff is professional and friendly and you'll have a fun time!

I, normally dont write reviews but after reading a bad review that was post about the dive shop i feel myself responsible to fill in, i was one of the 7 divers on that dive and i can assure everyone that the dive shop and instructors did everything according to the book, luckily on the dive there were 2 instructors so one were able to guide us through the dive while the other had to dedicate full time with one of the girls that seem didnt had any idea about diving, look more like a DSD he was giving.
we enjoyed our dive and went for a second one, the girl decide not to do the other dive not to incomodate us which was good for us, so now for them to say that the dive shop is irresponsible is very inadecuate from there part. i will certainly dive again with the dive shop and strongly recomends them.

Rating: 1/5 ⭐I am Dan Ruch, a rescue diver who recently stayed on Corn Island. I stayed at a hostel owned by the same person who owns the dive center. My experience with the dive center has been highly disappointing due to several significant issues, primarily related to management.Firstly, communication with the owner has been severely lacking. Not only did I experience this personally, but several other guests at the hostel also mentioned their inquiries via email and WhatsApp went unanswered. This poor communication has led to widespread frustration among customers and has tarnished the reputation of the dive center.Additionally, there is a noticeable absence of effective communication within the dive center team. This lack of internal cohesion has resulted in misunderstandings and inefficiencies in daily operations. Moreover, the absence of a cash machine and the lack of change on-site have made transactions cumbersome for both staff and customers. On multiple occasions, we had to wait for days for change because the owner left for Managua without leaving sufficient money for change. This indicates a disregard for customer convenience and service. The owner's lack of patience and kindness has been evident in numerous interactions. Attempts to discuss issues are often met with indifference, as the owner remains engrossed in their phone during conversations, effectively ignoring customers. As a rescue diver, I am particularly concerned about the safety and quality of the diving equipment. There is a lack of essential equipment such as weights and masks, and the maintenance of regulators is subpar, with frequent issues like leaks. This makes diving at this center unsafe.Overall, my experience at the Corn Island Dive Center has been marred by these issues, significantly impacting my satisfaction. The owner's apparent focus on money over safety and customer service is troubling. For a safer diving experience, I recommend going to Little Corn, even if it is more expensive. It's not worth risking your life for a cheaper dive.Make safe bubbles and enjoy the islands.

My 11 yo wanted to try diving so we booked a discover dive session with Myron. My 11yo is fairly nervous and Myron was great with her. Took the extra time to make sure she could clear her mask and took a couple of attempts to go down to the 8m depth. Honestly she was driving me nuts but he was so calm and patient with her. The dive itself was great .. under the water for about 33 minutes and the reef was pristine. I have my PADI open water advanced and have dived in thailand but even though this dive was guided it was easily the most beautiful reef I've been to. Lots of barracudas!

Shameful, never go there! After not receiving any further news from the WhatsApp contact, we went there the next day.
The person responsible was not there. The only person on the premises (she doesn't speak English) told us that we would be contacted by WhatsApp. Still no news around 4:00 p.m., we decide to return to the center The same person is there but still nothing organized She tells us to come back the next day at 8:00 a.m. Then in the evening we received a message telling us to come at 1:30 p.m. the next day.
Here we are on the 3rd day after the first contact, 1:30 p.m. at the diving center. We are told that the boat is not ready to leave.
This time wasted because of incapable and dishonest people...

My experience with the Open Water Dive course was very interesting. We discovered a new and different world in the sea. The main instructor and his team were very professional and knew how to prepare the best ‘Rondon’ dish on the island.

My two teenagers, my wife, and I went for a 2 dive trip with Myron. He was very well-organized and considerate of our expectations and limits since we are beginners. He was patient with us and we felt safe at all times. The equipment was well-maintained and the team worked well together. Myron also sent us great pictures from our dives. We had a great time!!! We highly recommend Myron and his team!

Myron and the staff at Corn Island Dive Center were AMAZING! They were really accommodating to our schedule, were very professional the entire time and brought us to some amazing reefs. DO NOT miss Blowing Rock, it's one of the best dives we've done in the Caribbean- think sharks, eagle rays, and lots of fish. So cool.
