Recommended to visit during daytime. Not so many things to see other than the painting. It's not so crowded when we went there.

Quiet, peaceful, inspiring and clean. Big enough so you don't notice other tourists. Nice greenery and trees. Go nearby to Silverlake Vineyards and Nong Nooch gardens. A whole days trip or 2.

We were on our way from Na Jomtien to Ramayana in the morning and stopped here for a walk and some pictures. It's a nice park with lots of parking space to accommodate busloads of tourist. There are several refreshments stands and the Buddha inscription in the mountain is worth a short visit to see one of the largest Buddha... More

I wasn't expecting much when I asked my taxi driver to swing by Khao Chi Chan. The largest Buddha carving in the world. Yes, it's large at 109 meters high by 70 meters wide, but so what? Arriving, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the tranquility of the carving. It is both enormous and intimate, and the Buddha's smile is... More

If you are in the area, this is a must see. There is a very largecar park and when i was there they needed every inch of it to accomodate the busses full of Chinese tourists. The site itself is wonderful. A gigantic buddha carved into the side od a mountain.. Despite the volume of people here there is always... More
