I have been there for more than 8 times and its getting crowded everyday.
Packed by Chinese and Korean group but okay if u like the crowded.
Food there is quite expensive, you can bring your own if you like.

I travelled from Vientienne to Vang Vieng by taxi, took about 3 1/2 hours and coat US$100. I visited Them Phu cave and Blue Lagoon as part of a full day tour also including the water cave and kayaking on the river (booked from a tour company whilst in Vang Vieng). Can't remember the exact price but it was ridiculously cheap.
