I would not say poor, but below average for a visitors center. Very small and limited resources, with barely interested staff.

The former studio of painter Thomas Hill, this place was remade into a small visitor information center, with helpful park rangers and a lot of information on the painter's life and works. Worth a short visit.

The Wawona Information station is actually located in the art Studio of Thomas Hill and there is a display of his works along with history of the area. The staff were very informative and friendly.

This information station is also the former studio of Thomas Hill so it was doubly interesting. It is a good place to become familiar with Yosemite and its history.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Attached art museum, best gift shop for caps and tshirts. Then you can walk up to Wawona Hotel for some history.

Limited options here. This doesn't seem to get the traffic of the other entrances, but the staff is helpful. Visitor center is sparsely appointed with some limitations on selection.

There are exhibits and displays surrounding the people and lifestyle that made Wawona an interesting place. A home for artists and conservationists, the jump off to Yosemite and the corresponding importance is never far from the forefront. Interesting and educational. Oh. And convenient!

It was very convenient to have an information center right on hotel Wawona property. They provided excellent information on hikes and all the scenic attractions as well as a nice selection of gifts
