This is one of the more famous views of Yosemite, but it really isn't much more than a tourist picture spot. Go for a couple of minutes, get your pictures and move on to the other attractions. Also, make sure to go when it is...More

This is a very nice viewpoint, with a decent parking area. Lots of good photo ops. But it gets busy there, and if you spot a tour bus approaching, time to go. The place will be inundated and you will not be happy trying to...More

As you drive out of the tunnel park the car and then say Wow. This is the best view of Yosemite. You can see Half Dome and Bridal Veil Falls. Lush green trees frame the view. I have visited Yosemite three years running and this...More

Great spot to take photos of Half Dome and the Yosemite valley. A must when you visit the park. Return several times since sky varies. Views can be hazy, clear, cloudy etc so it all depends. Regardless it's a great view!

The tunnel view provides one of the best views in Yosemite, and that is saying something. And no hiking is necessary! The views are fabulous right from the turnout. If you cross the street and hike up about 20 feet the views are even better.

After spending the previous day at Sequoia and Kings Canyon park, we could not help noticing how differently organised this place was. We enjoyed this experience and the amazing views you also get here. Great place to come again to.

Sorry. I am no expert on US weather. I do know that access to the park overall can be limited by weather. I suggest you consult reports of conditions at the time.
