The village is the epicenter of Yosemite. Easy access to the falls, visitor center, food, lodges, and a shuttle stop mean you will not be alone.

Yosemite Village has an interesting Native American exhibit and a museum as well as an art gallery. It also has a bookstore, snack area, and grocery/tourist store.

Lots to do in the Village - Majestic Hotel (old Awahnee), Visitor Center, Theatre, Court House, Post Office, gift shop, Museum, Ansel Adams Gallery and places to dine. Offers good access to many floor hikes.
