This is the first time I didn't hike the whole trail. We walked a mile down, a mile back up, saw few people (start early) and had a wonderful morning.

Well I will be the first to yield a poor review. It is a moderately difficult hike but nothing an average fit adult can not handle. Technically it is simple. The view is spectacular but very best at Glacier Point before you ever start walking....More

Up front I will say I loved this hike but the Mrs. hated it. Be forewarned that there is a downhill AND uphill portion. First several miles are easygoing and carefree but after awhile switchbacks start taking you back up and quite close to the...More

Oh yes! Start high up at Glacier Point and hike down and then uphill to Nevada Fall. Drink in the views at the outset, then march on in forest cover. Nevada Fall is a real treat. Spend lots of time up there. Then go down...More

This was a peaceful trail from Glacier Point to Nevada Falls. It got very crowded on the trek down to the valley.
