This trail is flat, and quite easy through forests and ending up at Mirror Lake, which is a very beautiful place. Bring lunch, many places to sit. Bathing is also possible.

Dont expect a large alpine lake we went in July 2017 lots of water and a rock to jump off into river.. it is more or less a wide part of the river but is very beautiful none the less..

In my view an easy walk which is rewarded by fantastic reflections in the lake. Quite busy though. We did the full loop and managed to get away for the crowds.
The trail to Mirrow lake is OK but nothing special if you compare it to the other routes in Yosemite. The right (southern) trail is better than the other one. The lake itself is really beautiful so I'd recommend to do this pretty fast visit...More
