We visited in June of 2017, when the waterfalls were full and active. Bridalveil fall had a double rainbow and made for amazing photos that looked like it was a backdrop not a real location.

There is a trail that takes you to the base of the falls. The trail is pretty short but it is uphill. Be prepared for a lot of mist!

This is a short hike along a paved path that takes you to the base of the falls. It is always enjoyable to take this short hike to see the falls and enjoy the sights along the creek that it forms. During the winter you...More

I suggest going off season, or at least, mid-week. Otherwise, a parking lot. The falls are an easy 5 minute paved walk from the parking lot. Once you reach the viewing area, large boulders and cold water await the thrill-seekers. We navigated the rocks and...More

The falls were beautiful with the wisps of water floating down the face of the cliff. Moving from side to side By the wind, revealing interesting shapes in the icy formations. Plenty of people on this Saturday afternoon. Can't imagine the crowds in the summer...More

In a good year it’s awesome today just ok. Actually nothing in Yosemite is just ok. It’s a frame of mind. I try to visit each season in the Valley. Light snow in the winter, rushing stream in the spring. Warm days in the summer....More

There wasn't much water falling when I visited in September but it was still nice to see and only a short walk from the parking. I would strongly advise anyone not to go near the toilets, I have never gagged so hard.

Nice little stroll to the falls. Water flow was a little weak, it probably flows strongest during the spring.

Yosemite falls is a good walk, you can park in the little village and it's about a 30 minute walk each way. it's not too hilly and is pleasant!
