This is located in the Norris Geyser Basin. The Porcelain side is 1.1 miles of boardwalk trail. If this is your first visit to Yellowstone, it's a must do. There's a large parking lot, but it fills up fast.

I prefer some of the other geyser/hot springs basin to this one. Here the overall perspective is desolation.

There are numerous thermal features in the Porcelain Basin and it is beautiful, but there are others that are more impressive.

My son and I stopped by Norris to do the Porcelain Basin area. Part of the boardwalk was closed last year for reconstruction. Lots of steaming and gurgling pools.

It is found in the Norris Geyser Basin, it offers several lookouts in different heights for panoramic views of the basin.
