In many ways much better than the famous geysers with the spectacular canyon cutting deep into the forest.

The downstream view of the lower falls is breathtaking. There was lots of free parking, and we'll maintained trails.

The trip to Yellowstone NP was my first. This vista was one of the definites on our trip. Gorgeous view! Parking is limited so go early and expect to wait for an open slot.

We visited this popular attraction early in the day. Parking was still available and the temperature was still on the cool side. There are several stops on each side of the canyon, some are closed for construction (Inspiration Point, part of the north rim trail,...More

Not only are the views stunning, but they are legendary and should not be missed. The walk is easy and though it is a very popular place, relax and go with the flow and you will be able to enjoy this beautiful place

Visiting Yellowstone wouldn't be complete without checking in the Grand Canyon. As the name implies, it is big and impressive. Rightly so.

Several stops along the side of the road or you can walk over from the Canyon Visitor Center. Look for the osprey nest.

Super cool. Great place. Beautiful sights. We were there early October, chilly, some snow. Don't miss site. Free. Decent walk. Other areas to walk out on.

I don't think that you can all of those things in one day. It is a driving park, there will be traffic and the distances are quite long.

No, you don't need to take a tour. Almost everyone there is doing it themselves. The only ones doing a bus tour are people who don't want to or can't drive.

You don't actually park on the Grand Loop Road. You take separate drives off of it and they have their own parking areas. The drives are only 5-10 minutes south of Canyon Village. The South Rim Drive will take you to the... More
