We drove through the basin and enjoying the sites from the road. The weather was terrible and we weren't able to get out of the car. There are pullouts and different areas you can get out of the car and walk around though.

We fell in love with this part of Yellowstone and took countless photos and videos of the spot, wanting to keep it in our memories for ever. Notwithstanding all the rage of the super volcano below we felt really at peace.

Worth traveling through at least once. The colorful hot pots are worth seeing. Very pretty. Very crowded too.

This is a must see for the beautiful turquoise pools, Excelsior geyser crater and Grand Prismatic. Put it on your itinerary!

The colors are unbelievable due to the organisms living in the hot water. Warm springs- no smell. Great pictures.
