Although it's right next to the street, it's not as spectacular as it sounds. If it's your first day, it's still interesting. If you've visited the other spots, it's not anymore.

This attraction at Yellowstone is so fascinating yet so different from all the other attractions at Yellowstone. Be careful not to ingest the sulhur mist when walking near this attraction.

The mud volcano was very cool and worth visiting while at Yellowstone National Park. You can see evidence of the eruption on the trees surrounding the area.

The Yellowstone Geysers is among the must see attractions in the Park. Very interesting, colorful. Must plan to spent a couple of hours.

It's great fun to see, hear, and smell the exotic bubbling and gurgling of the mud volcano and other nearby mud pots. The sulphur smells can overwhelm almost, but it's worth experiencing it at least once in a lifetime.

A refreshing change from the usual geysers. This walk has mud pools and a dragon smoking mouth. Interesting and fun. After so many geysers you want something different.

There is a pretty good Boardwalk that covers a wide area. You see the mud volcano and other geological attractions. There are signs of nature. Many opportunities for pictures.

Depending on the weather will depend on whether the mud cauldron is actually bubbling mud or steam! It was raining the day we were there so the kids were excited to see the mud in action! Located north of Fishing Bridge, on the way to...More

Because of the Winter snow fall, the geysers will be full, more water features. However we have been there in the early Spring and the weather can get cold and snowy. West Yellowstone is a great little town to stay and hang... More
