Dragon’s Mouth Spring was amazing to see and hear along with the intense Sulphur smells of rotten eggs. The sounds of the gasses mixing and exploding into what we can hear not see, sounds like belching while the splashes of waves roll along out into the pool of the Spring and steam rolls out. There is a nice deck to... More

They loved all of Yellowstone, but really liked the Dragon's Mouth. It's impressive not just to see, but to hear. It's loud and the colors around the spring are very vibrant. It's kind of mesmerizing to watch the waves and steam cascade from the cave and so we all stood and watched it for a long time.

Dragon's mouth looks something out of an old medieval movie. Extremely eerie if you can catch it without the throngs of tourists.

The smell of sulphur is prevalent in the air, but the view and proximity of the trail to the sights is awesome. I walked the trail, but would not suggest for anyone not accustomed to much walking or steps. Enjoyable experience.

The bubbling mud spring and impressive sounds this spring has are incredible. There is a hidden cave behind the wall ofsteam that creates the sounds that gave the springs its name.

This is an unusual feature as it seems to snort and the water gushes out. Guess that is why the Crow thought it was the snorting of an angry bull bison. The water surges out of the formation every minute or so and it is accompanied by release of steam at the same time. I was here early and it... More

All of the geyser basins are worthwhile and well set up for touring via the raised decks. That these things exist onearth is truly amazing.

Bubbling mud baths, boiling hot springs and dragon's breath from the Dragon's Mouth is worth it. The range of eco-sets are varied within a relatively small area are a really good 'go-see'. Access is on boardwalks, and the going is easy.

We really enjoyed this feature--sometimes it's a stretch to see why things are named what they are, but not this one...it's right out of a fairy tale... and not even far from the parking lot!
