The Dragon's Mouth Springs certainly live up to their name. Steam comes pouring out of this natural phenomenon.

The heaving waters that snort and spit make you believe there's a dragon inside--our kids were absolutely enchanted here. Quick stop, not too far to walk from the parking lot.

Like many areas of Yellowstone, this area of thermal features requires some hiking - including some pretty steep climbs. But the bubbling mud, steaming cauldrons, and algal mats are fascinating. This stop gives you a good idea of just how volatile much of the park...More

Wow. This is amongst the mud pools boardwalk and it really does look like a smoking dragon's mouth puffing away constantly. Good fun and different. Take a video.

The smells can be a little off putting but these geysers are amazing to see. Take the time to walk this loop, you won't regret it.

Dragons Mouth Springs is excellent It is hard to believe it is real and not from a movie set! Another must see on your Yellowstone tour. Easy parking depending on the traffic.

We spent about 10 minutes watching steam billow from this cave, and small waves emerge from within - kids love it

Did the walk around the walkway and found Dragon Mouth in the corner. It has a nice viewing deck. The water sounds actually sound like a dragon hissing steam and spitting water.

This was an awesome stop that was not crowded and was interesting to see and hear. You can see where this feature got its name...very fitting. There is a nice walkway to this feature. Do not miss seeing it. Loved the sounds and steam!
