We just returned from our first outing for the spring season (yes, it got cold). We camped in Winton Woods and loved it. It is clean, well kept, and with lots of things to do. We road our bikes, hiked some trails, and just enjoyed sitting around the camp on one of the first sunny days of spring. It is... More

If you are in the area and you need a walk in the fresh air, Winton Woods is a fine place to take it. There's nothing spectacular there, but it's out of the hubbub and sometimes, that's what you want. Look them up for other amenities, but we just enjoyed the hardwoods and walking off the concrete.

Lots of hiking and parks, but the water services are great! You can take pedal boats out on the river and float around for as long as you want. So fun!

We took our children here when they were younger, and now we love to return even though they're now young adults. Wonderful playground, beautiful lake, great walking paths.

There are many different hikes in this large park. The lake has summer activities. Don't forget to go to Nature's Nook

Winton Woods has several nice walking trails of varying lengths. The shortest one is a loop of between 1 and 1.5 miles. It goes around part of the lake. The park is dog-friendly to a certain degree. Dogs aren't supposed to be in the bathrooms or the area around them, but I don't know what you're supposed to do. Leaving... More

This large park offers something for everyone - camping, lake activities, fabulous walking and hiking trails, Parkie's Farm, picnic areas, and I'm sure I'm missing a few.
