Metal tie off crashed into my windshield. They claimed that it wasn't their fault. Pretty sad on their behalf for just not owning up to it. Nevertheless, it cost me one thousand to have my windshield replaced and the scratches on my car.

I had to catch the Ferry since there was major construction on the bridge going North. And it saved me tons of times. Easy to deal with in and out. Worth the 5$ I think. And its a change of pace then the boring highway.

We went in the middle of the day when we figured there wouldn't be a line. It was an experience worth the few dollars they charged and now I can say I've crossed the Ohio river on a ferry. I guess some people use it...More

The Anderson Ferry has been running since the 1800’s. It is a great way to avoid the traffic of Cincinnati’s bridges and enjoy a short boat ride. There are three ferries and one has been around forever. It uses paddle wheels to navigate back and...More

The Anderson Ferry has been operating for many years. My Dad used it to cross the river and I used it just for fun last year. A perfect excursion for a family fun experience...and free!

A fine short ride across the water, quick, efficient,$5, boat holds 8-10 cars but often goes with less. On the KY side look for the double side wheeler, 2-car ferry.

Travel back to the past by taking the Ferry across the Ohio River. The trip is inexpensive and once you are parked on the ferry, you can and should get out and watch the river from outside your car. This is worth the extra drive...More

My Mother once rode this ferry and said, "Why Shirl, you could swim and tow this thing" (meaning it was the smallest ferry on the planet but by far the quickest ride/shortcut across the river.

A group of us were going to Crestview Hills for dinner and decided to meet at Anderson Ferry and cross the river in one car. The $5 fee was worthwhile as we saved gas and time! The wait for the ferry was short as there...More

A very unique way to travel to and from Kentucky to Ohio. Brings back the nostalgia to days gone by when we did not have bridges where ever we needed them. Highly recommended!

It is at least half a mile wide. Has a good current. The ferry has been operating for about a century and half and is on the National Register of Historic Places.

We have never waited more than 15 minutes for any trip across either way even at morning rush or quitting time. They have 2 ferries so it looks backed up they add the 2nd one.
