Fountain Square is the main square in Downtown cincinnati, adorned by really cool fountains. However, we did not see the fountain runnings but were instead able to do ice skating as they had installed one for the christmas season and it was a lot of...More

Fun place to go Solo or with Friends. Attended the Square in the Summer 2016 (June), They had bands. They have restaurants around the square. Great Night life (Mint). Very Pretty location for photos.

This is our go to spot for weekend getaways. The is usually something going on with the square and this year was a Christmas festival. Santa even showed up via rappelling down the Huntington building. Great show and fun time!

Recognizing it is winter and holiday time, the fountain is drained and the square has an ice rink and a lot of German-style kiosks taking up space surrounding the fountain, so the area is pretty tight on space and not necessarily optimal for photography. It's...More

Fountain Square always has an event going on and with restaurants nearby, it convenient to grab a bite to eat and enjoy the event right by the beautiful fountain!

Well worth a visit in the winter. We ice skated for 10 each. The German market was kinda light, wasn't interested in most crafts. The fireworks and seeing Santa repelling down the buildings was cool, never thought I'd see that!

I believe that the German market that you are reference is 'Findlay Market' which is on the northwest side of downtown. I think that it is only open during daytime hours. It is better and livelier during warmer months
