Some of the best things in life are free. They include a visit to the Basilica. You don't need to be devout Catholic to have respect for Jesus and admire how He is depicted magnificently on the walls and windows of the Basilica.

Covington Kentucky is home to several great churches and this is certainly the one most visitors have first on their list to visit.Certainly worth your time. Mother of God though is my favorite and it's but only about a mile away. Both have beautiful stain glass and architecture found but few other places. Highly recommended.

From the architecture of the building to the stained glass windows and the mosaics, it was breath taking, awesome. A nice booklet is available explaining the construction and building highlights. A worthwhile visit.

The stained glass windows are gorgeous and unique! The whole place is a sight that no one should miss, especially if the sun is shining on the windows. All I can say is don't miss this sight!

Only one of two churches in KY that have a Basilica status and there are none in Ohio and only ND in Indiana. So if you want to see a beautiful and grand church this is it when your in Cincinnati. It has one of the largest free standing stained glass windows in the world

A classic French Gothic Cathedral that rivals some of the great cathedrals of Europe in sheer beauty. The interior contains a triptych mural by Frank Duveneck, stained glass windows by the Meyer Company of Munich, and mosaics from Venice, Italy. Tours are given after the 11:00 Mass on Sunday.

The catherdral is a hidden treasure in Covington. It is absolutely amazing! From it's breathtaking stained glass windows to the amazing ceiling - it is truely a heavenly experience. The outside is just as beautiful as the inside... they even have gargoyles! The garden in the back of the cathedral is very peaceful. There are benches and even a fountain.... More

This is the first time we visited a Catholic cathedral, and what a great first impression it was! We were in awe at the beautiful stained glass, the $10,000 wallpaper, the amazing ceilings, and the fine smaller details like the mosaic of Mary with a tear in her eye made of Mother of Pearl. The carvings are beautiful, and the... More

Breathtaking classic Gothic architecture, complete with flying buttresses! I loved this church. It is really an amazing structure to see, so much beautiful carved wood and stone with lovely stained glass windows. So glad we stopped at this!
