A good place to visit

It has been awhile since I was there but the landscaping is exquisite. What a wonderful place for meditation and contemplation!

Spring Grove is a beautiful cemetery. I went for a funeral and I had forgotten how beautiful a place this is. If you are going on a tour this is one of the places you really have to visit. My husband was so impressed by the mausoleums, the statues, and the grave markers. Very peaceful and very well maintained.

Spring Grove changes the perception of a traditional cemetery. There are so many beautiful flowers and trees--go in the summer to check out their gardens! Abundant miles of paved paths for walking and exercising.

Absolutely beautiful, huge area full of historical memorials and grave sites, as well as very interesting and original headstones. A haunting and history-filled civil war section. Salmon P Chase is buried here, along with Johnny Appleseed. There are several paths you can go on, all full of beautiful nature and history.. a lot of the old graves are in German!

This is a place to go to learn history, walk, or even do a scavenger hunt. We did the hunt and viewed most all of the cemetery.

Spring Grove Cemetery is not just a graveyard, it is a park, a sculpture museum and a Cincinnati history experience. A great place to bike ride, jog, walk, or meditate. A public cemetery welcoming all, the interred are a who's who of the people and businesses that built Cincinnati.
