This is a nice welcome center. After hours bathrooms are open but are not heated and cooled. Security is provided and visible in the front parking lot. Lots of info available inside during operational hours and friendly helpful staff. Great views from the back side...More

The bathrooms could have been a little but cleaner but I have definitely been to worse. The picture opportunities were great though. Nice little history lesson as well. Definitely broke up the long drive!

Nice view of the Mississippi River. Was disappointed the pedestrian bridge was not opened. Doesn't make sense to blame trains when there is a large fence between the two.

This spot overlooks the bridges spanning the Mississippi and provides a great view. The staff is very helpful with a special desk for those wishing to visit the battlefield and Civil War sights, plus one for general Mississippi/Vicksburg information. High on a hill overlooking the great Mississippi river. Loved watching the barges navigate the river. Friendly helpful attendant.

We stopped here on our vacation to get any information regarding Vicksburg and the surrounding area. The staff was very friendly and well-informed. The view was magnificent from the back porch.

Loved the views of river and bridge from there. Inside is decorated with vintage furniture and a wonderful visitor guide answered all our questions and gave us excellent points to visit
