Magic Island is a fabulous park with paved walking paths and breathtaking views of the ocean on one side and the marina on the other! Numerous benches to sit on facing the ocean and the lagoon. Two large clean restroom facilities. The day I went...More
Was on google maps one morning and saw this place. As we had our morning walk several times from Ala Moana to Waikiki Beach we ventured to Magic Island. There were lot's of walkers and runners and a fantastic man made lagoon at the end....More
Good view and more locals here. A lot less people. Be aware of the jelly fish or man-of-war in the water especially after rain. The beach is not as good as Waikiki but OK. But you can do something here and then go to the...More

While Waikiki beach is too crowded, this beach is less crowded so if you are looking for a quiet place/beach to hang out, you should go here. The waves are not big either so kids can play in the water.
We just had to see where Kamekona's shrimp truck parks. Thrilled to be at the place where Hawaii 5-0 films and McGarrett and Williams film but disappointed they were not filming the day we were there.
Easy walk from Prince Waikiki Hotel/marina area. Great spot for viewing and photographing sunsets. Parking areas very full here - best to walk if possible. Located adjacent to Ala Moana beach and across street from Ala Moana Mall.
