We took this hike as part of a Disney adventure and loved it! The fals are lovely, the path a bit muddy but the unique bamboo forest was the best.(It’s currently closed for renovations.)

**Re-iteration of my wife's review** You would feel like you've entered Jurassic park while doing this hike. The weather is really cool and the hike through the pristine rainforest with bamboo trees, birds, and flowers is magical. Expect a downpour anytime and don't forget to bring your rain jackets. There is paid parking and stores/restrooms near the trailhead. Date of experience: November 2018…

My friend and I were looking for another hike and nature walk when we found this place. It hadn’t rained the day before but the whom trail leading up to the falls were slippery. This is not for novices, its wet, slippery, steep but oh so beautiful! A real rainforest right here on this over developed commercial island, whodda think. A genuine tropical paradise, the guavas smell so fantastic and taste divine. Many wild exotic plants, heleconias, orchids and ferns, and the biggest trees, banyan, monkey pod, kukui nut, mango, canon ball trees, bamboo its just amazing.…

This hike truly was beautiful and falls were great - major jurassic park vibes. However I would not do this hike again for the following reasons: Tourists. There were SO many people. We were in a single file line having to stop often. When we finally made it to the falls EVERYONE needed a photo of course and no one was abiding by the signs to stay behind. This made it impossible to get a photo without people in it. Very frustrating. Muddy. The hike was incredibly slippery - like nearly impossible to do without falling. It rained the whole time, which I don't mind at all it was the slippery mud. I did fall and had to throw out my tennis shoes. It was January and I get that the hike is muddy, but wow. Just the people and the mud made the hike much less enjoyable.…
