Rain forest is beautiful place to visit. Fresh air, waterfalls, hiking through the forest while listening singing of thousands birds... Bring with you some bamboo sticks to help you during hiking.

Worth a drive. It's refreshing! One of the most beautiful drives on the Island. We circled it twice and we were mesmerized by it's beauty each time. It was Magical, for a lack of better word. It will heal your soul! 🎉

The "rainforest" doesn't really appear to be a rainforest, but is more like a heavily treed road. It's about a 5 minute ride, and there are areas where you can pull off the side of the road and hike down into the valley to have a look at the stream. After the rain the paths can get pretty muddy, and very slippery. It's okay to see but I wouldn't go out of my way to get there. Just about a 15-minute drive from Waikiki Beach.

We did this as part of a Half Circle Jeep tour. This also has the ruins of the old royal summer residence. its a very interesting place, with bamboo forests. one of the parking areas is the location of the last battle in which Oahu fell to King Kamehameha. It is so windy at this point, you better hold on to your hats!

Not far from Waikiki. The site of the battle that united the Hawaiian Islands, there is a plaque with the history. The weather can be windy and quite different from Waikiki.
