I first visited Haunama Bay in 2013 and loved it. I had only been snorkleing once before and enjoyed it. Since 2013, I have not snorkled again, until my trip to Haunama Bay this month. I just love the people and we get to see...More

The site might have been beautiful years ago, but is hammered daily by hundreds of tourists and the coral has suffered badly. If you were a fish, you would want to be somewhere else very far away. There's little shade and no food or drink...More

Amazing beach. We purchased this excursion via Kaimana Tours since we had the Go Oahu Card. They picked us up at our hotel and they provide you with the snorkeling equipment. There is an entrance fee for the Hamauna Bay that goes towards the preservation...More

Snorkeling in Australia is much prettier! The fish were beautiful, but the coral was charcoal, and water murky! Thr mongoose and cats were great to watch on land! Otherwise snorkling wasn't worth it!

We arrived at Hanauma Bay at 7 am (opening time). The parking lot was already very full but it didn't seem super busy yet. We paid $15 for 2 adults and the kids were free. We watched a short orientation video and headed down to...More

Parking can be crowded so it is best to go early. After paying a $7.50 entry fee you are required to watch a nine minute movie which details the ecosystem of the bay. It is a steep walk down to the park but they do...More
