This nature reserve is awesome. Calm, reef close to shore and an abundance of fish! Well worth the visit. Unfortunately no turtles this time. Good for inexperienced snorkellers, young children and anyone that would like to see colourful fish close to shore.

My family thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. It was absolutely beautiful! There is snorkeling gear for rent at the location, but be warned that they apparently do not have any flotation devices (only snorkel, mask, and fins).

Paid parking and limited access to enjoy the park. You have to pay almost everything. Stayed there maximum of 15 minutes. Sort of a quick stop over.

It costs visitors $1 to park and $7.50 per adult to enter. Riding the tram from the check in point to the beach is $1.25 each way or $2.50 for the whole day. The tram ride is worth it. The bay is beautiful for sightseeing....More

This is about the 5th time I’ve been here. Each time I’ve enjoyed it so that says a lot. You have to pay for parking and entrance into the park. Bring your own goggles and fins or you can rent. As you come down the...More

Amazing beach with clear water. Famous for snorkling. Entrance fee was $7.5 each person and there is a mandatory video watch before you can enter the beach. They should imprive the waiting line and the video schedule so people can take advantage of their time.

I recommend going elsewhere. It's too busy and crowded. Also, I doubt the money meets the value. There's plenty of places to snorkel that are less populated.

The rental costs varied depending on what you wanted. We bought our own at an ABC store and it was cheaper than any of the rentals we saw. The only thing to really consider is if the person or people need a mask that can... More

When I was there, it was the busiest around 11-2, so before or after probably. The beach closed at 6 (it became dark around that time as well) when I was there so keep that in mind.
