Nice well maintained park adjacent to the beach. Away from the hustle and bustle of the main Waikiki beach area but with restaurant and bar facilities provided nearby by The Hilton Village. Nice sandy beach adjacent to the park. For those looking for island history...More

The Fort DeRussy Beach Park is essentially a large open grassy which has an Army museum. It is a good area to walk through as despite the proximity to the very busy beach and shopping streets it is a largely quiet space.

Fort Derussy is an Army recreation area but it is open. it is a big open green, grassy pace with coconut trees. There is also an Army museum there. a good place to just sit.

Beautiful public park with numerous activity options. Tennis courts, benches, inviting green lawns, and vending/dining options.

We had to walk through this park many times to get to shopping and the beach. The monuments are nice and very clean.

It's an ok place to take a break from the heat. If you are walking along the Waikiki beach walk, you can stop by, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

If you are a guest at Hale Koa there is a parking garage across the street for less that $10 a day and it is secure.

the milatary resort is next door. you have to be a veteran to stay there or active. The park is next door and anyone can go there. it is no big deal, just a big grass area next to the beach.

Hale Koa hotel will suit military. As for the Ft De Russy Park, it has the museum which will suit vintage WWII enthusiasts etc.
