Interesting bit of history.

If you are going to check out the Arizona memorial this is at the same place. Why not see what a WW2 submarine was like.

If you don't like small places this is not for you. Very interesting way to walk around and see all the in and out of sea life. I feel it also helps to show the conditions under which other live to protect our freedom. They take a photo of you that they print on the original newspaper headline the day... More

It was a very interesting view into the history. Living in those conditions would be challenging in the best of times. As it was a tight squeeze for me and I did very much appreciate the fans they had in the sub. I was a little concerned that our smallest grandchild could have run or fallen off the sides of... More

Well worth the admission fee to have a good poke around a real submarine which saw plenty of action in WWII. Not much spare room to be found anywhere, especially in the kitchens and sleeping quarters, an awful lot of controls to keep things on an even keel, no modern navigation or communication devices, even an old trusty typewriter on... This is a small but interesting side trip to the Pearl Harbor memorial. Worth the look, helps one appreciate what our Naval force goes through.

the walk thru the submarine is fantastic the lack of space and how cramped it is and what they fit in is amazing to see. i thought it was best display of the memorial area

A great peek into the lives of folks who live aboard submarines, the tour also gives you a wonderful exposure to the technical sophistication of submarines...

Great place to go to see how the submarines work and the lifestyle the submariners would've had! You are able to board and walk around in one of the subs which is amazing.

This tour was short but definitely informative! I didn't take the Audio tour which is included in the fee. My husband and daughter did the tour twice, once without audio and second time with audio and both said that it was a far better experience. It is a confined area, therefore if you are claustrophobic, I suggest to give it... More

If you have never been on a submarine, the Bowfin is very educational to see how the sailors existed in such small quarters and the danger they lived every minute. The headphones are easy to use and narrate each area of the sub. It is worth the price. The museum is also very eye opening of how the US fought... More
