Bowfin is a WWII museum and a living treasure that gives visitors a good idea of how it feels to be on a submersible vessel in wartime. The crew's quarters are especially interesting and to say 'compact' is an understatement. The workings are all there as you travel from stern to bow, and to just walk around the deck lets... More

We really enjoyed touring the Bowfin submarine and museum. So much history and learning in a really wonderfully maintained venue. Such a treasure.

The Bowfin is located close to the Arizona exhibition and is really worth the effort to go and see. At the entrance you get an audio tour as part of the admission and then its onto the submarine and a walk through the various chambers. The commentary is excellent and you get a real feel for what it must have... More

The best thing that I would recommended to do in Hawaii. Get the audio guide and explore the everything.

a great visit for a real piece of history, you need to be mobile to get in and out of the small spaces inside the sub, see how crew slept, ate and served, take a pic sitting on the anti aircraft guns

going through the sub doesn't take very long but there is a lot to learn. The audio tour is excellent and there is a separate one for children. My 9 year old son was very affected by the trip to the Arizona and cruising around this sub cheered him up. He had seen a Russian sub and was able to... More

$12 admission, children under 4 cannot get in. The submarine sits right at the shore of pearl harbor visit center, we went in while waiting for the Arizona memorial ferry boat. I've never get into a submarine before and this is definitely a very interesting experience. You can see how all engine rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and kitchen squeeze into... More

We really enjoyed our self guided trip through the submarine. Loads to look at and some good info on the guide sheet. There is also an audio tour if you wanted it. I would go again.

This was a cool thing to do! Super interesting to see how the Navy Men lived and operated this USS Submarine in World War 2! My Wife and I loved our tour of the Bowfin
