Another great stop at Pearl Harbor is the USS Bowfin Museum and submarine. You get the true picture of life on the sub. How would you like for your bunk to be right above a torpedo? Space is a luxury! Everything on the sub is...More

If you have taken the time to visit Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona, the USS Bowfin is just a short walk from the visitors centre. A must for those who like military history and submarines.

We really enjoyed the audio tour of the USS Bowfin. It was really interesting to both see and hear how the submariners lived on this vessel. It was fun to walk through and feel a part of it.

The Bowfin is in amazing shape. I could really feel like I was serving on the sub. The audio tour was very helpful.

A very interesting and informative experience. Submarines have evidently come a long way since this one was in service. We enjoyed checking it out and seeing the museum.

I don't think so. I recall waiting for the Arizona film to start and then going out to the site but I think for the submarine you just go whenever.
