Happy to say the gardens look in better shape than my last visit but there is still need to improve the special displays.....very sad........the addition of the Honolulu Biannual art show was nice and as a whole the gardens were nice

Unless you are a botanical garden photographer such as I, and with so many other places to see on Oahu, don't even get in the car for this.

Yes - many alternatives. I believe we took the red line, hop-on hop-off tour and it was one of the stops.
