My wife and I went to this garden after visiting the Bishop Museum and before we went to Pearl Harbor. It is a private garden sponsored by Hitachi, that is know for its monkey pod trees. It is a good place to relax.

Mother Nature at her best. Lots of huge trees in addition to this one which is used in an area excavating advertisement, I believe. One park I recommend visiting.

The monkey pod trees are incredibly impressive-- lots of shade! I was also surprised at the number and variety of fruit trees. Lots of ducks and birds. There is really not much else to see. The two structures which are supposed to be historical, are...More

Such a beautiful and tranquil place. We had a few hours to kill before our flight and just went for a walk in the park. Stunning trees and immaculate grounds.

A wonderful place for a quiet outdoor lunch and to wander the extensive ground which will inspire you with aloha. The great attraction for Japanese is the well known Hitachi monkeypod tree, but lesser known is the Kamehameha V cottage, the koe pond, and the...More
