This was a very emotional stop for us. You will have a set time to Visit the Memorial and see the short movie. You MUST be on time or you will not go on the launch. No backpacks, purses or bags. If it is the only thing you do in Hawaii it is a must. Going with a tour is... More

Get there early to gain free entry to the museum and Arizona memorial. Lots to see and learn. There are other monuments you can pay to visit. Highly recommended visiting this while on Oahu.

Visiting Honolulu the one place I really wanted to visit was Pearl Harbour and the Arizona Memorial. The trip I was on allowed 2 hours there which was adequate though another hour would have been nice. We had time to visit the “Road to War” Museum and the “Attack Museum” both of which are free before going to the Theatre... More

We enjoyed an afternoon here but thought it was spoiled by the commercial aspect. The visitor centre was very interesting.

This exhibit and museums are well done. Make sure to crossover to the island on the shuttle and visit the USS Missouri and Aviation museum while you are here. Well worth the time.

This was my second visit to Pearl Harbour, the first over 25 years ago. The facility is markedly improved however the visit just as emotional as the first. We were especially lucky to visit when a funeral of a USS Arizona crew member had passed and he had chosen to be laid to rest with his fallen crew members who... More

We went to the memorial expecting long lines and wait times. Got there around 1000 and were ensconced in the movie at 1045. The movie itself was balanced in its depiction of the events December 7th 1941, giving both the US and Japanese perspectives. The trip out and back to the memorial by boat was done with precision timing and... More

Make sure to book ahead or book a tour as otherwise you will not get in as the number of tickets per day is regulated. The museums are informative, the movie in the theatre excellent. Leave what you can on your tour bus as purses, back packs are not allowed and there is a $3 charge to check each item.... More

Allow: 1.5 hr for USS Arizona, another 30 min for walk around, 30 min min for other exhibits....more time as well if you are doing Bowfin, Missouri, etc. We went out of general interest and to show our kids the memorial. It is a must-do...a well-done memorial to those lost. The USS Arizona tour starts with a brief movie and... More
