This is the place to start your visit to Newport Rhode Island if you have never been there before, or to refresh yourself with all that Newport has to offer. It is just as you come into town by the Marriott

Went in to see what tours were available in October 17 and came out with tours booked. On recommendation we took trolley tour and truely amzed. Tour guide Tom was very informative. Also in Centre free wifi and staff very helpful.

As first time visitors, we were happy with the helpful information the staff provided. Got tickets for the mansions, and suggestions that got us to the mansions decorated for Christmas.

We decided to go and get some history of Newport. We have been to Newport many times but had not gone through this Center. It was easy to learn and feel what Newport was and why it is like it is today

The Hertz Rent a Car Office is inside the Newport Visitors Information Center. There is a full tourist office with live support maps and handouts. The local and intercity buses stop at this center. The center is located about two blocks from the Tender Pier...More

I would park by the mansions for that tour as it does involve lots of walking --just doing the tour. You only have 1 day and have two big things planned....if you only want to see the Breakers then no problem but the other... More

That should be a much slower time of year to visit. If you join the preservation society you can get a pass to visit all the mansion for $75.00 for 2 people. One mansion can cost $26.00 so quite a bargain. Recommend you... More
