Beautiful paved walk along cliff/water with views of Breakers and Salve Regina University. Wear good walking shoes if you want to walk whole 3.5 miles since some areas are rocky.

Walked the Cliff Walk in the morning so not many people on the path. Amazing views of the ocean and houses. Worth the time to walk the path.

The cliff walk is def worth checking out, it's a path along the water and with nice views of the historical mansions. Nice way to relax and see some of the best views newport has to offer, and it's free :)

If you're in Newport for more than a half day, I wouldn't miss the Cliff Walk. You can start at either end or in the middle--where it passes the ends of some streets. The view is certainly pretty enough, though visually not one of the...More

Wonderful way to walk off post thanksgiving calories. Did a leisurely stroll on a balmy fall day where we took in the views of the water and the houses. Absolutely beautiful and manageable for all ages. Can’t wait to return

I loved how you could get on this coastal walk from 5 different locations. There is plenty of parking (which is free in the off season) and different types of terrane from easy all the way to difficult which was brought to our attention very...More

Beautiful place to walk. We happened to go when it was windy and rainy but still memorable. We walked for about two hours round trip. Lots of places to stop and take in the view. Photo opportunities everywhere!

If you go past breakers, up the road a little is a turn off with parking. There’s nice views there. Also, along ocean drive on the way up toward the mansions; it’s beautiful!!
