We had a lovely walk here enjoying the views of the sea and the cottages. It wasn't busy and there was plenty of parking, plus lots of photographic opportunities.

This walk is amazing to experience in Newport . The scenery is unreal with the mansions, and ocean bluffs for several miles especially on a sunny day. Every time I come up to Newport I make sure to walk at least some of it ....More

Great 5 mile walk along the ocean. When starting out on Memorial Boulevard walk is nicely paved. As one progresses the walk becomes more rugged and not for everyone. That should not discourage people from starting out. Perhaps, nicest in spring when daffodils are out.

I like the marginal way in Maine better. This walk..you are surrounded by stone walls and fencing. Not one person walking spoke or acknowledged a smile or good morning..kind of wierd

The easiest walk is probably from The 40 Steps to just past The Breakers. Basically walk the length of the Salve Regina University Campus on the Cliff Walk...and just a bit beyond, past The Breakers (The Vanderbilt Mansion... More
