A must visit on your historical trip to Newport. Right off the main street in Newport, it offers quite an experience into the past glory of this historical place.

The church's age alone makes it worth a stop and the dates on the tombstones are very old and worth a look.

Stopped by to get a few shots at the pumpkin patch. Beautiful church. Worth a stop. Lots of dogs at the park at the bottom of the hill.

A little surprising to find the grounds covered in pumpkins of every possible size you can imagine the church is the oldest in Newport built in 1726

I enjoyed visiting this church and learning about its history. Saw the pew box where both George Washington and Queen Elizabeth II worshipped. Very interesting.

It was interesting to see the old history from George Washington, to Queen Elizabeth, side by side. Our guide was knowledgeable and delightful, showing me some "secret" things about the church that I enjoyed.

We visited early on weekday and were unable to enter, but the church with its imposing steeple is situated in a beautiful location on a hill in Queen Anne Square. I dare you walk by without taking a photo or 2.
