Trinity’s Church is on a beautiful location, at the top of the Queen Ann Square. It’s a gorgeous building (constructed in 1726) designed by Richard Munday and built entirely of wood. The church has nice historic references, like for example in 1776-1778 was used as...More

This church is set on a public (Anne) square in the heart of town. Do stroll the grounds, but don't miss going in. This historic and well preserved church on American soil has some incredible Tiffany Windows, and even though partially blocked from interior viewing,...More

was a little taken aback by the tombstones which greet all visitors. That's common for the historical part of new England... headstones are everywhere!

Our group had just planned to look inside, but we were very fortunate to have a wonderful guided tour when we arrived. She told us so much history about the church and the people who had worshiped there. Definitely worth a stop.

This is a beautiful old church. Be sure to really look at the stained glass windows - they're by Tiffany. And oddly, the top part of the windows are blocked, so you have to maneuver to see the whole window.

I have been to many cathedrals and churches in many cities around the world, but had never seen one with closed-off pews--box seating "rented" by families of parishioners. Very unusual. We of course sat in the one where many luminaries had sat. Interesting tour guide.
