This is a fun neighborhood that has its own eclectic vibe. You can find some very good restaurants and bars (some open until the wee hours of the morn) as well as some fun shops. The shops seem to come and go but there are...More

Nice shopping area but overall quite average. I can see it would be nice to stop by for lunch or dinner, but I would not consider this a shopping destination as many articles have suggested. Perhaps this is it for Buffalo?

Elmwood has always been the best place to walk around and find something to do. There's many shops, restaurants, art and history museum nearby, etc. However the recent urbanization is upsetting the neighborhood and I'm not sure I want to see what happens.

The Elmwood Village is comprised of many small shops and restaurants so you can walk the streets but will need to check the specific shops you want to visit.
