Unremarkable but quiet place to hide out for a day. Pretty when the wildflowers are in bloom. We camped and canoed here several times. National Forrest permit was required in 1980...not sure about now.

Smaller local lake great for boating, swimming, and water skiing. Not crowded like some lakes. Good boating facilities make putting your boat in and out easy. A nice little lake for relaxing on the water.

This long, narrow lake is quite pretty. Fairly shallow, good for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. $9.00 per day for boat launching. Many pull off areas to view the lake.

It's an ok lake. No real fishing from shore unless you don't mind weeds. Good place to see wildlife and nice sunsets

We went for a triathlon as spectators and it was such a beautiful lake and area. It was cool in the morning in July but it warmed up mid day and it was just beautiful.

My son suggested this one. We drove SE of Flagstaff and found a place that he described as, "So beautiful, it hurts." It's one of three lakes in chain, Little Mary, Mary and Mormon Lakes. The "big" Mary Lake has some water, but the other...More

Today it is snowing but I wanted to take a look at the lakes around flagstaff. Upper is full and the ground is covered in snow so I didn't stop to fish. I will be coming back soon to give it a shot

We decided to visit after hearing about this at Riordan house. Nice drive although it was too chilly to picnic. Worth the visit in the summer.

if you are just visiting as a day trip I believe it is free. There are camping sites which require a fee.
