We decided to visit after hearing about this at Riordan house. Nice drive although it was too chilly to picnic. Worth the visit in the summer.

Lake Mary is a great area for boating, camping and sightseeing for the whole family. I went during early spring, after one of the best winter snowfalls in a long time. Lower Lake Mary had water in it, which is more often, not the case. Upper Lake Mary and the Coconino Narrows provide for more opportunities for boating, kayaking and... More

When you want to spend a good summer time with your family, this is a peaceful and quiet perfect place. Lake Mary has camping places and cabins. It is very close to Flagstaff and there is no problem to get whatever you want.

We met friends at the Narrows at the far end of the lake and had a good afternoon of paddleboarding for adults and kayaking for kids. There is a double boat ramp at this location on Lake Mary with a day pass cost of $8. Fishing is always an option for those with either a boat or a chair on... More

Lake Mary is a pretty lake but if you want to fish you might want to go durring off seasons or weekdays. Through the summer it is a very busy place with boaters.

Head to the far east end of the lake, The Narrows and put in at the picnic area. Great for paddle boarding and a nice shady picnic area near the water. This place is great for handicapped. Not a great place to swim, as the water is a little muddy and crawdads frequent the shallows, but good for a picnic... More

After a long day of hiking or mountain biking, I recommend jumping in! The lake is a little murky, from silt, but super clean and refreshing!

Lake down to a thimble of water. Too bad because you can imagine what it would be like when it was full.
