The tuition for the school gets jacked up every year! The financial aid is a joke Housing is a joke the whole town it's in is a poverty town. Even the professors / teachers are a joke. My friends that are currently students here and friends that were students in the past, never had one good thing to say about... More

During our explorations of Flagstaff we visited the campus of Northern Arizona University. It looks nice like any other campus of a good regional school of higher education. We have no personal ties to NAU . We were a bit surprised with their landmark The Raul H. Castro Social and Behavioral Sciences Building. Interesting.

Your standard small town mountain school. Small campus, but very nice. Has a heavy hippy feel to it. Filled with hipsters and a very leftest view. The school takes over the town of Flagstaff, making it seem very young. Great place for natural recreation for students if that is their hobby or interest. I would not recommend for students who... My daughter attended NAU as an undergrad so we travel through on our way whenever going to the North Rim or Utah. It was amazing to see all the new buildings that have recently gone up. This is a very good school in a wonderful town that is trying to distinguish itself from its larger more well known cousins, ASU... More

My wife and I work in higher ed so we love visiting college and university campuses. We were visiting historic Flagstaff so we could resist visiting the NAU campus. Historic Flagstaff was alive with students, millennials, parents and tourists at restaurants, stores, galleries and bars. It feels like a n extension of campus. The campus is sprawling and lush. There... More

This campus is a very large campus for a regional state university which surprised my wife and I but we enjoyed our short visit. We learned more about it's connection to forestry and visited the Riordan House while on campus. Certainly worth a short visit if you enjoy college campuses and history as we do! Enjoy!

Love NAU! Just a great place to walk around, and so close to fun eats and shopping! Check out the restaurant at the far end of campus, by Old Main.

NAU is fantastic! We attended the Orientation in July and had a great day. Very beautiful campus, great presentation and tour, and even the cafeteria food was good! My daughter loved the campus and feels that this is the college for her. Skiing is nearby, free movie nights, great concerts on campus and big dorm rooms. Downtown Flagstaff was awesome... More
