Located on the majestic San Francisco Peaks, the Arizona Snowbowl lies 14 miles outside of Flagstaff. IN SUMMER/FALL, the Scenic Chairlift shuttles riders to the top of Arizona (11,500 feet/ 3,500 m). Join us for a round of disc golf, go on a hike and treat yourself to lunch with a view at Agassiz Lodge Restaurant. IN WINTER, join us for skiing and riding over our 777 acres, 40+ trails, and 2,300 vertical feet. The ski area's snowmaking capabilities offer season's opening in mid-November through the end of April for all skill levels.

From Phoenix, went to see fall foliage before snow season. Road up to parking area under construction, so waited in line about 40 minutes for shuttle buses .Encountered another line at base of lift, which took about 70 minutes. Once on top views were nice,...More

On a Sunday we drove from Flagstaff to the Snowbowl to enjoy fall colors from the chairlift. The resort is under major road construction, but they handled parking and the crowd well by running 2 shuttle busses to the lift. Wear warm clothing! It was...More

A 30 minute chair ride to some great views. The chairlift can look scary, but it's at a leisurely speed. Bring warm clothing and water. A quircky fact is the restroom at the top is the highest bathroom in Arizona :)

Normally I love to come up here but there is a lot of construction right now improving roads and parking lots. The chair lift is being upgraded to a four person ride. No autumn color yet.More

Our team at Arizona Snowbowl appreciates your comment! Many guests do not expect this significant temperature change from the Valley and even Flagstaff. For our guests’ comfort, we always recommend dressing in layers and staying hydrated. We look forward to seeing you up here again!

We really enjoyed our visit and trip to the top, even if the smoke from fires kept us from seeing as far as we might. We saw a bear and that made it even better.
